STAR-BRAVO: USC Science, Technology and Research Program

A program based at the USC Mann School, the USC STAR program brings together USC scientists with students of the Francisco Bravo Medical Magnet High School. STAR students learn about science and math by conducting research with USC experts.

STAR students contribute to scientific publications and research grant proposals. Many of the program’s graduates attend top-tier colleges and research institutions including USC, Harvard, Stanford, Duke, Columbia, California Institute of Technology, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cornell, Brown, the Claremont Schools and UCs.

The STAR-BRAVO program is supported by funding from USC Good Neighbors Campaign.

USC Faculty and Staff: If you are interested in participating in the USC STAR program as a research scientist, or to sign up your lab as a partner research lab, please contact Terry David Church or Amanda Burkhardt.
